Cargill promotes diversity around the world
• Through the Pride Network, the company carries a message of tolerance, respect and inclusion towards and with its employees and their families.
• For 16 consecutive years, Cargill has been certified as a company that demonstrates substantial commitment to creating LGBTQI + inclusion policies and practices.

MEXICO CITY (June 15, 2021) - The world is a diverse place and all members of society have a responsibility to promote tolerance and respect among all human beings.

A step in the promotion of safe spaces is the proclamation of the International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biophobia of the United Nations Organization in 2004, since it is a call for collaboration between governments, industries, academia and civil society to analysis, inclusion and respect of individuals without distinction of gender, expression or sexual identity.
To feed the future, it is necessary to have the different perspectives of the world. “Putting people first is in Cargill's Values and Guiding Principles; it is what allows us to innovate for our clients and inspires us to invest and improve the conditions of the communities where we are present. For 16 consecutive years, Cargill has scored 100% (the highest possible) on the Human Right Campaign Foundation's Corporate Equality Index, designating the company as a "Best Place to Work for LGBTQI + Equality." This certification prompts employers to take concrete steps to ensure greater equity for LGBTQI + workers and their families in the form of comprehensive policies, benefits, and practices.

In adherence to this commitment, the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and the Cargill Pride Network work for the inclusion of employees, customers and business partners, knowing that their experience, tastes and perspectives help the company to fulfill its purpose of feed the world in a safe, responsible and sustainable way; ensuring that anyone feels welcomed, valued and heard.
